After the wedding and the honeymoon are over and my clients receive their photos, they receive a short survey. It helps make sure I’m doing the best job possible for my clients – that they’re getting everything they need and then some from their photographer.
I was sorting through these surveys since quite a few need to be added to the Kind Words page of my website and decided to share a whole survey on a blog post so you could get a better feel of what it is like to work with me. This one is filled out by Anna who married Danny at the Zion Lutheran Church in Des Moines. I was particularly fond of the Mt. Dew reference at the end.
Anna, thank you for the kind words you expressed in this survey, it was a joy and honor to photography your wedding day!
1. With many other options out there, what made you decide to work
with Garnet Photography?
I chose Garnet Photography for my wedding because I really appreciated
Cassie’s style and original feel with the work I saw online. I loved
her use of natural light and how she seemed to capture the candid
moments and expressions in her photographs. I could tell she had an
artistic eye and could produce beautiful images that didn’t need to be
2. “Do you feel like the images and service you received from Garnet
Photography was worth what you paid for it? How so?”
Cassie did a great job just going with the flow of the day and
capturing the events as they unfolded. I think a wedding day is made
up of different moments in time, and she was right there wanting to
make sure to freeze those memories in such authentic and creative
3. Would you recommend Garnet Photography? Why?
Yes. Cassie has an obvious passion for not only photography, but also
being a part of your wedding day. She strives to find the most
captivating angle to each of her shots in order to tell the story and
provide you with images that are well worth the investment.
4. Is there any thing else you would like to add about your experience
with Garnet Photography?
One thing that really stood out to me, was when you arrived at the
church ahead of schedule taking shots of the exterior of the church
with a mountain dew at your side. It was just a great way to start the
day, knowing you had beat me to the church and were definitely
prepared and just rearin to go.
I am very much looking forward to the weddings coming up this year! I do have some more dates available, so if you’re looking for a photographer for either this year or next year contact me today!
